What makes TEMESI Compost special?
The true potential of our facility lies within its knowhow of aerobically decomposing organic materials. Anaerobic decomposition leads to the production of the strong GHG (Green House Gas) Methane and lets organics become an inferior product in comparison to high quality organic compost.
An aerated decomposition process utilizes the right bacteria to degrade organics without producing methane, further sanitizing and infusing them with a generous mix of microorganisms. At TEMESI Recycling delivered waste is separated on site and organics are processed according to an ISO 9000 norm, insuring a standard procedure.
Approximately 60 Tons are processed daily, yielding 16 Tons of Organic Compost. Large blowers force air into organic mounds, which are watered, mixed and loosened up to maintain optimal conditions.
Oxygen content is kept at 6-12% while moisture content is kept at 40-60%. Active aerobic bacteria produce heat within their decomposition process, which is monitored and kept at 70 oC.
Our Compost is frequently analyzed both biologically and chemically to control and improve product quality. In Supporting this high end product you are helping to finance successful waste management in Bali. We sell at production cost and are an NGO working to achieve something for our community.
